The quickest and most economical way of getting to the Axiat in the Pyrenees is to fly and then hire a car. There are flights from England to Toulouse (just under two hours away) and Carcasonne (about and hour and a half drive) in France, or Barcelona in Spain (About three hours away...car hire is significantly cheaper in Spain)
